The years had passed . . . come and gone like the gentle waves washing against the gravelly shore. But time hadn't really touched Rin, hadn't changed much about the girl now stooped among the nearby wildflowers. Hadn't changed her heart, and the one thing that kept it beating - Lord Sesshomaru.
He stood watching from a distance, silent in the breeze. Sesshomaru had never been one for many words, especially around Rin. But Rin knew words weren't really needed - there was something else there between them, something that ran deeper than words.
She stood up, her arms full of flowers, a great smile on her face as she thrust her nose deep into the bunch and inhaled their sweet perfume.
Something moved in front of her, distracting her from her flowers. Raising her eyes, she was startled to see her Lord Sesshomaru standing over her.
"Lord Sesshomaru?"
He was looking down at her, wordless, face its usual blank mask. But there was something . . . something in his eyes.
He lifted a delicate, powerful finger and tipped Rin's chin up towards his face. Rin was lost in his gaze- the flowers lying at her feet, dropped and forgotten.
He was telling her something. She saw it there, in his eyes.
And then the moment was past. Lord Sesshomaru lowered his hand and stepped past Rin and away, towards the distant cover of trees. Blinking, Rin stood still, trying to digest what had just happened. After a moment she realized with a start she was being left behind. With all the grace of a child, she turned and ran desperately in his wake. . .
"Lord Sesshomaru! Lord Sesshomaru, wait for me!"

I'm fascinated with the look they give to eachother. However, I think his face should look bigger than hers, since he will always be bigger than her.
